This privacy policy explains how MK Garden Landscapes ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you use our website or submit an enquiry. We are the data controller for the information you provide. We are based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

MK Garden Landscapes is a matching service. We connect Milton Keynes homeowners with one vetted local landscaping contractor per enquiry. We are not the contractor who carries out the work. You can reach us at mkgardenlandscapesinfo@gmail.com or on 07477 623810.

What data we collect

When you complete our contact form we collect only what we need to arrange your quote:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your postcode area (the outward code only, for example MK14, so we can confirm you are in our area)

We do not ask for a full address, payment details or any special category data through the website. If you email or call us, we hold whatever you choose to share.

How we use your data

We use your details to qualify your enquiry and pass it to one vetted local contractor who is suited to your job and area. That contractor then contacts you directly to arrange a free site visit and quote. We may also contact you ourselves to talk through the project or to follow up. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to a list of competing tradespeople.

Lawful basis

Our lawful basis for handling enquiry data is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to your request and running our service. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Who we share it with

• One local contractor: the single vetted contractor we match to your job.
• Formspree: our form provider, which processes the submission and delivers it to us. Their servers may be outside the UK, protected by appropriate safeguards.
• Google: for anonymised advertising and analytics measurement, only where you have accepted cookies (see below).

Cookies, Google Ads and Analytics

We use Google Ads and Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our site and to measure our advertising. These set cookies only after you accept them. When our cookie banner first appears, advertising and analytics storage is set to "denied" using Google Consent Mode, so no such cookies are stored until you choose "Accept". If you choose "Reject", only essential cookies are used and Google receives anonymised, cookieless measurement pings at most. Your choice is remembered on your device so the banner does not reappear on every page. You can clear it by clearing your browser storage for this site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete it. If you ask us to erase your data sooner, we will.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email mkgardenlandscapesinfo@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
